“Unstoppable!”

Have you ever felt that you are on top of the world and the only place for you to go is up? Please take a moment to think about it. Although we are living in an unprecedented season and times of assuredness may be few, there are a few times I felt this way. Is it because I can trust our government, society, family, friends, or even myself? No. Life is too unstable and uncertain at times and even scary to trust ourselves. However, I trust God. Therefore, I know with Him on my side, I am “Unstoppable!”

Despite how we may suffer physical impairments or bouts of heartaches, loneliness, or despair, we should not declare doom if our relationship with Christ is in good standing. I read an AARP article that spoke of the loneliness that many seniors are experiencing. Not just during the pandemic but before such time. Similarly, this is also happening to the middle age and young adults. But, my sisters, this is not the time to stop believing and trusting that God knows your uprising and downsittings. Beyond a doubt, He is in control, and that makes you “Unstoppable!”

Most importantly, don’t allow negative thoughts and feelings to hinder you from achieving and being your best self. When loneliness and worrisome thoughts come my way, I refuse to let them reside in my life. Learn to rebuke any ideas that will pull you down and cast you into despair. On our own, we are nothing, but just like a quarterback leads the defense and sets the tone for his teammates. Jesus sets the tone for our life. You can be “Unstoppable!”

To sum this all up. Keep your head lifted toward the hills from whence cometh all your help, my dear sisters, and to all reading this post. And something else of importance that we often overlook. Seeking help from professionals trained in dealing with mental and emotional concerns is not a sign of weakness or not being a child of God. Prayer and professional counseling can work together.

Unfortunately, too many individuals are committing suicide or allowing themselves to receive continuous emotional abuse. Stop the cycle because, with Christ, you are “Unstoppable!” The joy of the Lord is our strength! Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Listen To Your Heart!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

I You have truly spoken a “Word” for today Sis!!!!!!!
I love this empowering message that you shared in this blog. This statement truly requires spiritual growth -“Learn to rebuke any ideas that will pull you down and cast you into despair.” That truly is operating in the “spiritual” power and authority that God gives us.
And you did not leave out operating in the “natural” knowledge and wisdom that God gives us also. Like you said, we have to “learn” how to operate in this “spiritual” power,…BUT, in the meantime, you also stated this – “And something else of importance that we often overlook. Seeking help from professionals trained in dealing with mental and emotional concerns is not a sign of weakness or not being a child of God. Prayer and professional counseling can work together.” I too am a firm believer that as we pray to God to lead us to the proper people for our “physical” healthcare, that He can also do the same for our “mental” healthcare. Like you said a couple weeks ago, “no judging”, for it is unkind and unjust to judge others just because they may have weaknesses that we don’t personally have, instead we should just be grateful to God about the mercy, love, and favor that He has shown us in these areas of personal strength.
I truly believe that this blog is going to help someone and set them free in this major area of their health-care, both on the spiritual and the natural.
We take all types of prescribed and over-the-counter medicines, even give them to our children and our disabled and elderly, and we also get all types of procedures and treatments, follow all types of recommended healthcare guide-lines for even what we eat and how we should exercise our bodies for optimal health. And to say the least, look at the “natural” measures that we have taken to protect ourselves and our families during the pandemic. And, I too believe that likewise, we have to believe that God gives “others” understanding on the natural of how to help us with our “mental” challenges also, especially until we learn how to “rebuke” these things. And if we don’t have good “mental” health, then we cannot be productive even if we have good physical health. With these tools in our toolbox, we can be “unstoppable”. You have truly spoken a “Word” for today Sis!!!!!!!
God bless you for sharing “REAL TALK”, for we are in an alarming state of “mental health crisis”, and it is not affecting people on any discriminatory level, just like COVID-19 has not been discriminatory on any level. To me, just like we prayed about the pandemic for “scientific” breakthroughs, we should do the same for this. For many in all walks of life have been and are being negatively impacted and affected!!!!!!
Truly praying for ALL that are challenged with mental health issues, that God may direct their and their caregivers path. And in the meantime, until they grow spiritually, that they seek to get help on the natural!
