“Spring forth!”

Spring is the time of year when everything in nature will “Spring forth!” Trees are becoming full of green leaves; flowers are blooming; bees are flying around. New life is bursting forth everywhere. Well, what about new growth and energy within us? Is it time for it to burst forth? So many people are suffering and going through dark periods in their life. It seems the sun is hiding away. Often I wonder what is going to happen next!

Simultaneously, as the world, in general, gets crazier, so do the relationships we have. Instead of new growth, things appear to be withering and dying. Well, my dear sisters, it is time to “Spring forth!” with new energy and enjoy life. Life is so so short, and we have no time to lose a moment of enjoyment. God’s creation is lovely and should bring joy to us. Therefore shake off worries, disappointments, aggravation, and anything that increases negativity in your life. Live life to the fullest.

In conclusion, a few weeks ago, I gave the mothers on our Mothers’ Board the task of sharing one to two things that provide them joy in life, not including their spiritual involvement. Foundationally we know the joy of our strength comes from our relationship with God. Nevertheless, God gives us many things to enjoy on this earth. Let’s not take anything for granted and make good of our God-given talents and resources. “Spring forth!”

Enjoy and grow in grace and mercy. Don’t allow the woes and trials of this life to diminish who you are. Put a smile on your face and keep a song in your heart, and your circumstances will look less bleak. For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Isaiah 65:17. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Too Broken For Repair!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

Sister Jackie
