“Look for the Rainbow!”

Sometimes, after a hard rain, we can see a beautiful rainbow when the sun shines through. If you notice, the rainbow didn’t appear first; the rain did. I have enjoyed seeing a double rainbow on an occasion or two. So beautiful! We know the biblical meaning behind the rainbow if you don’t read Genesis 9:11-17. When I think of a rainbow, I think of something beautiful coming out of the rain. In our personal lives, rain can symbolize hardship and difficult and trying times. Lord knows these are trying times, but He can deliver us. Just like the “sun” helps bring forth the natural rainbow, the “Son” brings forth what I call a spiritual rainbow to bring us joy, peace, healing, etc. Therefore, “Look for the Rainbow!”

Despite how cloudy or dreary things may look, don’t give up on God because He won’t give up on you. Does the sun shine every day? No. Will there be rainy and stormy days? Yes. But after the rainstorms, when the sun shines again, “Look for the Rainbow!” Otherwise, don’t stay in a cloudy mindset. Know that better days are ahead for your relationships, health, finances, and whatever you need. Do as David did. Encourage yourself and, when you can, encourage and strengthen someone else.

As I conclude, on the natural side, a rainbow does not appear after every rainstorm, but when they do, they are beautiful. Nevertheless, with Jesus the “Son,” we can expect miracles and wonders to happen out of nowhere at any time. Let’s always remember that no matter how hard life may be, there is nothing too complicated for our Savior to conquer. Do you trust Him to see you through whatever you are going through? I trust Him for my life. “Look for the Rainbow!” I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:13.I’ll return next week with a new post, “Amazing Grace!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

My dear sister, thanks for this beautiful post, ‘Look for the Rainbow’! I am encouraged to look for the rainbow, no matter what because with Jesus, the Son , I can expect miracles, signs and wonders to happen at anytime ! This is one to remember! I may not see a rainbow after every rainstorm, but I can expect to see the hand of God moving on my behalf, and I must continue to look for it, God bless!
