Life can bring challenges and changes daily. Whereas there was once a time when we could count on some things or people with certainty, those days became less and less. If the pandemic didn’t teach us anything or sudden gas shortages in the south, what will? Our country has changed so much, and many of the people in it. I didn’t know what God wanted me to say when He gave me this title for a post a while ago. I am just writing it now. The message I am getting is that we must strengthen our relationship with God more than ever to survive in such a time as this. We can go to bed with things one way and wake up to an entirely different situation and world. “Facing the Unknown!”
Relationships are essential and critical to our having a well-balanced life. We all want to feel loved, cared for, and needed. Stable family relationships provide us with support and essentials in life. At the same time, love relationships give us an added support system and companionship. Both types of relationships can mean the difference between having a healthy, enriched lifestyle or a possibly broken life filled with loneliness. In the meantime, never knowing what to expect day by day. “Facing the Unknown!”
However, nothing supersedes the relationship we can and should have with the Lord. Unpleasant situations will happen from time to time and maybe even more frequently than what we want. However, having a steady, consistent relationship with our Savior makes all the difference in our life. Let this post serve as a reminder that we don’t have to fear anything or worry about what lies ahead. Why? Because we know who holds tomorrow and who is holding our hand.
As I conclude, I don’t know the next challenge we are to face, and more challenges are coming, but I know that God wants us to trust Him with all our hearts and mind. We won’t walk blindly with God in the lead position. Just follow His lead. Please take a few minutes today to thank God for His covering, grace, and mercy. It will surely help us as we are, “Facing the Unknown!” What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.Psalm56:3. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “It’s Gonna Be Alright!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!

Facing the unknown can be difficult. No one knows what tomorrow brings – or even what the next hour brings. This is where trust comes into the mix. Trust in the One who holds tomorrow and all of our futures. Let this be a reminder that we should not worry about our tomorrows and lean more into trusting the One who holds tomorrow. This is a message for me!
This message is for us all! Trust, trust, trust in God is our only hope! Thank you for your thoughtful comments. May God’s grace and mercy continue to cover you. Keep trusting Him in all matters! God bless you!
Very well stated. I agree that “we must strengthen our relationship with God more than ever to survive in such a time as this”. I hear this an outcry. This truth alone, is the wisdom key, alone, complete in itself.
Thank you so much for all that you do to help us through this ever-changing, challenging journey of life. May God continually Bless you and yours.
Thank you for your encouraging remarks. They are a blessing to the readers and me. May heaven smile upon you as you continue on your Christian journey. God bless you!
