“A Time to Love!”

Yesterday was one of the most celebrated days of love. Unfortunately, everyone may not have received the gifts and expressions of love that they desired. Does that make you unloveable or unappreciated? No way. Accordingly, loving begins with one’s self. It doesn’t depend on who may or may not love you. Primarily, gifts do not denote love entirely. Some people lavishly bestow expensive gifts on others without any genuine feeling of love. Therefore, money can not buy love. It is “A Time To Love!”

Firstly, love yourself, and when others don’t show you any love, you won’t be totally in a state of devastation. Heartaches, hurt, and pain will always be present in this life, but how we handle each episode determines our feelings of self-worth. Secondly, besides our Savior, who can love you wholeheartedly without hesitation or reservation outside of yourself? Henceforth, family, friends, or other loved ones, can not love you as much as you love you. It is “A Time To Love!”

Otherwise, in this season where so much uncertainty remains, let love abide in your heart. God is love, and making Him first will help fill the empty days of longing for companionship and love from others. Innately, we all desire to be loved and have someone to love, but charity begins at home within us. More importantly, remember we don’t hurt what we love, and that includes ourselves. I am saddened each time I hear of a life lost by suicide. I often wonder what the individual feels is so unchangeable in their life that the only answer is to end their being. It is “A Time To Love!”

In the end, we alone are responsible for our feelings. Hence, be joyful and merry even when life seems to go in the wrong direction. Winter is almost over, and spring brings forth new life. So, look ahead to new beginnings. Even more so, concentrate on making yourself content in whatever state God chose for you to live at this time. Without a doubt, we are all tired of restrictions, viruses, and the lack of companionship in some instances, but if you are reading this post, you are alive, and life brings on hope. “It’s A Time To Love!” Love yourself. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1John 4:8. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Unstoppable!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!
