“A Perfect Day!” How does that look to you? Is it a day when everything goes well? No heartache, pain, or any disagreements occur. Furthermore, does the sun shine brightly with no clouds around? Also, you do not have any financial needs or woes. Last, but not least, you feel the love of family, friends, significant others, coworkers, and so on. Hence, this all sounds rosy and great; everyone’s dream. Or is it? “A Perfect Day!”
Well, for me in this season of my life, everything doesn’t have to go well; the sun does not have to be bright and sunny. I can live without the love of everyone (don’t want to), but I can’t live without the love of God. You might be wondering what the purpose of this post is. Specifically, it is to remind us all that gratitude is an attitude. Personally, what gives me “A Perfect Day!” is waking up in the morning, having my health and strength. Being able to take care of myself and knowing quite well that it is only by God’s grace.
Each day that I live, I do not dare take my life for granted. Without a doubt, I have no complaints or grievances toward anyone. I am too blessed and grateful for God’s goodness toward me and those I love. My dear readers, take a moment to sit quietly and reflect on your life. Although things may not appear to be great in your life, look again. Take a deep look. Are you still breathing, have food and shelter, clothes to wear, and your reasonable health? Then you have “A Perfect Day!” before you.
As I listen to others tell their stories, I see how immensely God is blessing me. Do I have challenges in my life? Definitely. We are all going through something in this different season of life. Our economy and government are in need of repair. So many things are spiraling out of control. But, God! He is my keeper and yours, too. Therefore, let us know that regardless of what happens around us, within us, let us keep the love of God. His love is perfection and the root of every day, which with Him is “A Perfect Day!” Just a word of encouragement for such a time as this. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33.3. I’ll return next week with a new post. “Baby, Oh Baby!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!

Amen Sis! “gratitude is an attitude”! I too try to start each day with an attitude of gratitude. AND speaking for myself, it is not always readily achieved, for the battle of the mind and flesh is REAL. And even as the day goes on, especially when challenges pop up, sometimes I sense The Holy Spirit reminding me to tell our God, no matter what is going on, just say Thank You God, my Abba Father, for remembering “me”! For in spite of it ALL, the good, the bad, the ugly, the painful, the undesirable, the unexpected, the indifferent, and any of the diverse challenges of life, our God is Good ALL the time, and even when we don’t understand, ALL the time our God is Good. Truly, perspective, and Faith, is everything.
As always, Thank You for taking the time to share these powerful inspirational thoughts for enlightenment and uplifting for the hearts and spirits of all whom they reach. For this was so on time for me today. Just getting around to reading it. But, our God’s timing is ALWAYS perfect for our every need. Praying for you and your family Sis, please pray for me and mine also. For we ALL need prayer, ALL the time. From my heart to yours💕
Thank you, Sis. Audrey, for sharing your thoughts on this post. You summed it all up for me in these words, “For in spite of it ALL……. our God is Good ALL the time, and even when we don’t understand, ALL the time our God is Good.” I live and breathe this, Sis. Audrey!!!! Thank you for always encouraging and supporting me! May our great God rain down showers of blessings upon your life!
