“Write the Vision!”

“Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world.” Joel A. Barker

Having more time on our hands allows us to write a vision for our life if we choose to do so. A vision is simply the act or power of seeing: sight- Merriam-Webster. You may be thinking, why do you need to write a vision. I believe that visions encourage us to think about our lives and work toward the ultimate goal of self-improvement. Throughout time God has given visions to many individuals in biblical days. Accordingly, he is yet giving His people visions to let them know that more excellent is coming. Write the vision!

Moreover, perhaps God has given you a vision about future advances on your job or retiring from your career. Maybe He is giving you a picture in your mind concerning ministry. He may have shown you in the future the companion you desire. Each of us has been given visions along the way in life. However, the key is what do we do with the concept. How is the plan laid out for the execution of the idea you have in mind? Write the vision!

Accordingly, when God gives us a vision for our future, He also provides us with the desire and stamina to achieve the goal at hand. Will there be setbacks and disappointments along the way? Most likely, yes, but a God-given vision will come into fruition if we lean on Him and not our limited understanding. Hence, some visions will require self-sacrifice on our part, but anything worth achieving is worth the sacrifice. Write the vision!

Additionally, there are some doors that only God can open and others that just He can close, and consulting Him, we will understand the difference fully and know when situations are beyond our control. But, don’t let fear or weariness keep you from setting goals through visions you may have for your life. We can’t be complacent. Periodically, we should seek God for spiritual and natural ideas for our life.

Therefore, do you have any visions? Is there anything you desire from God naturally and spiritually that you envision in your life? My sisters, who are waiting on God for that special relationship with someone or a future husband, do you see it in the future? Or, are you afraid to desire that special blessing from God because it has not come to fruition, although you are diligently seeking God on the matter? Or to those individuals who need a repaired marriage. Can you envision it? Subsequently, visions, dreams, and ideas all require a workload. Some of the load is prayer and fasting; another portion is working on ourselves to equip us for the blessings of God.

Furthermore, I am asking you, dear readers, to take a little time after reading this post to write a spiritual and natural vision or idea of something you desire to happen in your life. Write it and date it. Write the steps (work) you will put forth to advance your vision to a whole reality. Think about how much your life will be enhanced or changed because of the vision’s fulfillment and completion. However, if you are not excited about it, cross it off and start again. Write the vision!

Lastly, nothing positive happens if we enter a task half-heartedly. I would love for you to share your vision with us. We can pray along with you that the fulfillment of it will bring you God’s pure joy. If you ask God not amiss, I believe He will give you an answer and conclusion. Remember, He does all things well! Be blessed as you write. I am writing right along with you. May God hear us all and lead us to attainment. And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper. 2 Chronicles 26:5. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Say What?”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

Great! Excitement leads to motivation, and motivation moves us toward the completion of our goals in life. I pray that as you reignite the visions you have for your life, God will direct the complete work. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you, and heaven smile upon you!

When God gives a vision for a work to be done, He will always back it up with a plan. Sometimes, it’s hard for us to visualize the project and execute it, but it will come to pass in His time and season. It took me about eight years to start this work of helping women who are heartbroken and needed healing. I didn’t know what to do or how. I am not on any social media, so I wondered how the word would get out. But God…. some people read this post all across our country and even in other countries. They don’t all write comments or are regular followers, but I receive personal emails and testimonies from women benefitting from this blog. Even if one person receives help, I am joyful for that person. I appreciate you taking the time to read this post, and I pray that God will open up doors for your dream to come to fruition. I also pray that God will heal you from the hurt you have suffered. Yes, through Christ Jesus, you are a survivor and will continue to survive! God bless you!
