“What Would You Change?”

Have you ever thought about things that have happened in your life and you wish you could change? You may be thinking, what’s the use in fantasizing about things we don’t have the power to transform? You are absolutely correct. We cannot change the past but can use some aspects as lessons learned to avoid making or allowing the same mistakes. Therefore give a little thought to your life. Are there situations or actions on your part or others that you wish had a different outcome? “What Would You Change?”

As I write this post, a few things in my life, especially relationships, come to mind that could have had a different ending. Without a doubt, certain things were not in my control. It is not within our power to control the actions or deeds of other individuals, but neither can all blame be the responsibility of one individual. Furthermore, as we look toward others to change, we must also be ready to bring forth changes within ourselves. “What Would You Change?”

Moreover, it is always good to self-exam to move forward in our life’s journey. Despite the mistakes and challenging lessons we cannot change, introspection can lead to more meaningful choices in life that yield better outcomes. Life is short and fleeting every second. Thus, there is little time to waste lamenting over hurts, pain, and heartaches. Whether in personal or other matters. Instead, think of trials and tribulations as teachable moments. Riding on the train gives me a lot of time to ponder things in my life. Even these posts that I write weekly speak to my heart first before they reach you. I ask myself, “What Would You Change?”

As I conclude, I invite you to take a reflective journey and see where you could make inner changes that will benefit you foremost. Let’s not waste time feeling sad because our life does not meet all of our expectations. Keep moving forward and doing your best to live life fully with as much joy and peace as possible. Ask God to help you make the changes He desires for you. “What Would You Change?”Think about it. We would love to hear from you! Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Psalm 25:4. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “The Hard Part!”
