“Unspeakable Joy!”

Life seems to be getting better. We can finally spend quality time with some family members. Eating in a restaurant is not so scary anymore. Travel is resuming, and people everywhere are booking flights and planning family vacations. You have already read about how much I enjoyed vacationing with family. But now we are starting to hear how this new variant of COVID(delta strain) is causing the ICUs to refill back again. If you are like me, my first thought is, “Here we go again!” Can we survive another attack on our economy and sanity? Well, I refuse to be in distress and instead rely on what God has given me. “Unspeakable Joy!”

Henceforth, “Unspeakable Joy!” can only come from God above. No matter how stormy life becomes or how the high winds may blow, we can be at peace and have that glorious joy of God. I am writing this post two weeks before you will read it. In two weeks, I don’t know how life may change, but I implore you to hold onto your joy like Habbakuk(Chapter 3) did when all around him was doom and gloom.

Additionally, I hear about many lonely and despairing individuals who don’t need anything negative thrown their way. Still, we don’t get to choose how life treats us, only how we respond. Everyone doesn’t have a strong family(spiritual or natural) support system. They don’t have a relationship with our heavenly Father, or if they do, they are only holding on by a mere thread. Do you know anyone like this, or is this you? Is your joy determined by your environment or circumstances? Can you rise above today’s challenges and genuinely declare, “Unspeakable Joy?”

Most importantly, please be encouraged no matter what is happening around you or within your inner circle. It’s no time now to get weary and jump ship. Continue your walk with the Lord, or if you don’t have one seek help from great encouragers who know well what our faithful God can perform. I believe God will equip His children with survival tactics to combat what we must face.

As I end this post, my sisters, keep trusting God and know you are never alone. There is no lack or want in our loving Savior. These are the last days we live in, but unfortunately, I believe just the beginning of our sorrows. Ask God daily to give you “Unspeakable Joy!” for such a time as this. Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. 1Peter1:8. I”ll be back next week with a new post, “What Will You Choose?”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

Sister Jackie

Amen! Truly The Joy of The Lord is Our Strength, “Unspeakable Joy”!
It is so good to know, and be reminded, that our “Joy” Matters, not only to us, but it matters to Our Loving, Faithful God too!!!
May our Loving God Bless you the more for this reminder of such timely words of encouragement in these trying, ever-changing, and uncertain times, that we will be encouraged that our God will continually bring us safely through it all.
