“Trouble Can’t Last Always!”

As referenced in a song, we often hear someone say that “trouble don’t last always!” I have said that same thing so many times until now. Let’s go a notch higher in our thinking. Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, trouble cannot dwell in my life, but for the period that God may suffer, it to be so. You can apply this affirmation to your own life by the same token. Therefore, worries, problems, heartache, burdens, and frustrations, you name it, are not to be our main concern. Why? Because “Trouble Can’t Last Always!”

Naturally, the day we live in is different from the old days. So much violence, racial inequality, “big lies,” economic and financial woes, and relationship problems plague us. Without a doubt, trouble is constantly in our faces. Of course, we have many daily concerns about the well-being of our life, but take a deep breath and stop. You must know “Trouble Can’t Last Always!”

For a moment, let’s think of the different relationships we currently have. Are you happy and at peace or miserable and in a difficult place right now mentally? Does it seem that instead of getting better, things are getting worse? You may not feel valued or appreciated. Furthermore, nothing you ever do is considered correct. Hence, I could go on and on, but you get the picture. As a result, there may be an assumption there is no end. But rest assured that an expiration date is already in place because God’s mercy says, “Trouble Can’t Last Always!” But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. Psalm 59:16. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Time For A Life Checkup!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

Thank you for this post. I must remind myself that trouble don’t last always even when it seems to stay. We sang the other part of this Jesus promised He’ll take care of me. Another reminder to endure for eventually better days will come. Thank you again for these very thoughtful posts.
