This post will hopefully encourage anyone going through a difficult time. Whether the difficulties result from brokenness in a relationship or pain and grief due to personal causes, know that Jesus is there “Through Thick and Thin!” What are thick times? Those are the times in our lives when we get caught up in the storms of life. Like the sea billows toss and roll, our life is sometimes more turbulent than we like. Nevertheless, our consolation is built on a solid rock as we trust our incredible Savior.

Therefore, as we trust God when all is well, let us trust Him more when things are not going well. There are many afflictions of the righteous, but God will deliver us from them all! My sisters and all who read this post, do not let discouragement overtake you. It will if you allow it, but do not. Most importantly, we must remember that God is a God who rules impossibilities. “Through Thick and Thin!” He will see you through.

So, continue to stand and look for great things to come. If finance, health, work, relationships, or family issues plague you, take a bold stand and walk over the turbulent waters. Stay on top, as Peter. Keep your eyes on the Master “Through Thick and Thin!” Keeping your faith will take you to the other side, where there is joy and peace. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. Luke 8:50. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Share the Burden!”
