Everything in life has a beginning. What we do, act upon, and move on begins with a thought. Sometimes, we ponder things repeatedly before we act upon them, and at other times, the thought occurs, and we start the ball rolling. I think relationships begin from an idea in the mind. We think about the other person, whether we want to get to know them, etc. Even when there is no one special in our lives, we “think” about what we desire. “Think, Speak, Believe!” should be the natural order in making our heart desire known to God.
Hence, when we desire to have a meaningful relationship with someone after thinking about it, we need to speak life into our thoughts and then believe in God for it. Accordingly, in this new year, our faith requires full activation or reactivation as we render requests to God. Speaking what we want is affirming our belief that something can happen. “Think, Speak, Believe!” is a form of initiating our petitions to God. My dear sisters and brothers desiring companionship this year, I encourage you to inflate your trust in our Savior.
Most importantly, as this year moves forward quickly, there is no time to waste. Speaking of our desires helps them come to life. Undoubtedly, faith has to appear before doubt can enter our thoughts. Otherwise, we won’t believe we will see the goodness of God in all areas of our life. This year, I will seek to petition God daily for our saved, single, young, and even more mature women. There is a group of Christian women whom I will call the “Sensational Seven.” I am not naming them, but please pray for them with me concerning their desires for a relationship. “Think, Speak, Believe!” and all things with Christ are possible. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: 1 John 5:14. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Invest In Yourself!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
