Often when we think of struggles, our mind drifts toward financial woes that many, including ourselves, may be experiencing. Merriam-Webster defines struggle: to proceed with difficulty or with great effort. Our situations extend far beyond our financial status in today’s world. Hence, some people have significant financial stability while everything else around them crumbles almost beyond self-repair. Let me tell you, dear readers, “The Struggle Is Real!”
As I talk with individuals and observe others, their pain, challenges, and heartaches are visible. Sometimes it is so easy to wonder if anyone is happy and even more so joyful. Why? Because happiness is indeed fleeting and joy, in many instances, seems so far away. Specifically, society has become more self-centered about what one can do for their advancement with little to no regard for others. “The Struggle Is Real!”
Accordingly, thinking about your present status, where do you find yourself on the spectrum? Are you struggling to make it from one day to another emotionally? Moreover, are your challenges gaining momentum and appearing to outweigh the good in your life? Furthermore, are loneliness or depression words you identify with more and more? If so, this may indeed point to the fact you are struggling. Are you alone? Definitely no! Undoubtedly, if not today, then tomorrow, challenges will catch up with us all and cause us, if only momentarily, to struggle. Listen well, you all. “The Struggle Is Real!”
Lastly, remember you are not alone. Help is always available. All you need to do is seek it. Where? First, with God, then the earthly angels He has placed in your life if necessary. Don’t let shame or guilt hinder you from getting done what is essential to help you to overcome your struggles. Yes, “The Struggle Is Real!” But also real is your victory over the struggles in your life! For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:30. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “No Show!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
