Should our giving thanks to God depend on our circumstances? If all is going well, then we shout from the rooftops, “God is good.”? However, if we are experiencing heartache, heartbreak, financial difficulties, or other difficulties, then do we keep our praise in the basement? I pray not! We must ensure that we give “Thanksgiving In All Circumstances!” to our great God. Does everything we experience feel good, look good, or do us good? Definitely not, but we cannot let our trials shape who we are. If we love God and know who He is, we will give Him glory and thanksgiving no matter what. Oh, I know you say that it is easier said than done, and in many cases it is, but we must press beyond the things that trouble us.
Hence, as believers in Christ, we must understand that whatever happens in our lives is God’s will for us. Then it makes it somewhat easier to know that God knows what we are going through. “Thanksgiving In All Circumstances!” As we continue in November. A month of giving and sharing. Let’s continue to give God all the exaltation, praise, and glory for the great things and all things He has done in our lives. Without a doubt, the more we look to the God of our Salvation and give Him thanks, the more He will bless us with the things we need and desire. Seek ye first the kingdom of God….
As I end, more than ever, God wants our praise, thanks, and supplications. Therefore, do not disappoint Him. I know we are living in a time of hardship and societal stress, but we cannot mock God. Know that whatever a man soweth , he shall reap. So don’t let yourself get caught up in discouragement and distress. God sees all and knows all. He will punish the evil doers. Henceforth, give God thanks and gratitude, because we could all be in a worse state. “Thanksgiving In All Circumstances!” I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works. Psalms 9:1. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Prayers With Thanksgiving!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
