Watching a program recently, one of the characters spoke of some difficulties in his life. The person in conversation with him spoke of Christ’s experience on Good Friday. Indeed, that day brought much anguish to our Savior, but as we know, once He got past Saturday, Sunday gave us new life and hope. Therefore, no matter what is happening in our lives, “Sunday Is Coming!” Are you emotionally in pain and hurt? In addition, is your present relationship experiencing difficulties? Are there personal issues troubling you, and it seems like daylight is so far away? I do understand because life holds many challenges for us all. But, God!
If this season is one of peace and joy for you, enjoy each moment because everything occurs in cycles. God never puts more on us than we can bear. He is a relief, giving God whose mercy and grace are sufficient. Nevertheless, if you are in a season that is not so joyful, know that “Sunday Is Coming!” Your joy will renew, and your peace will be beyond understanding. Will everything be in perfect order in your life? Probably not. But God is a sustainer and a keeper. Therefore, encourage yourself if no one else is around to do it. God is faithful and will see you through every situation that knocks at your door.
Where are you today in the scheme of things? Are you still living your Friday a day of darkness, or are you in transition on Saturday? If so, hold on because “Sunday Is Coming!” It may not look like it, feel like it, or appear to be on its way, but soon, and very soon, you will rise again above your circumstances. Most importantly, you will have a testimony to share with someone else who needs to hear an encouraging word. Thank God, “Sunday Is Coming!” Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Proverbs 30:5. A guest writer will bless you next week.
Be encouraged, and God bless!
