“So Grateful!”

Today begins my “So Grateful!” series. During this month of giving, sharing, and being grateful, I will highlight those individuals who want to share their gratitude with others. Today, I highlight Nicole. She says, “I am thankful for my baby, Jevaun. He is my answered prayer. Although his journey has been difficult, his smile is reassurance that he is and will be alright.”

Even amid trials, tribulations, and even heartache on different levels, we must continue to be grateful to God. As I was sharing in Sunday School recently, our life will not always yield a bed of roses; even with beautiful roses, there are thorns. Nevertheless, we can always count on our awesome God to take away the pain of the stinging thorns occasionally. Am I grateful? Yes, “So Grateful!” for the wonders and miracles of God.

Today, I thank you, Nicole, for sharing your story. I will continue to pray for baby Jevaun. I am writing to every reader reading this post. Will you commit to praying for Jevaun? Jeremiah asked, “Is there anything too hard for God?” If you know nothing is too hard for Him, please join me in praying for baby Jevaun. So, one day, he will have his testimony of the goodness of God! Thank you so much again, Nicole. I am sending love and blessings your way! For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. Romans 11: 36.
Next week, I will bring you another post that lets us know someone is saying, “So Grateful!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

    Ms. Jackie,

Thank you for mentioning my baby in your post. I love your statement, “we can always count on our awesome God to take away the pain of the stinging thorns occasionally”. I want to highlight “occasionally”. There is a purpose for your pain. Unfortunately, we cannot live life without experiencing some sort of pain. It does not feel good but eventually you will learn to live with it. Pain builds character, endurance, makes you stronger, and prepares for you the path God wants to take you. So for anyone going through difficulty this season, hold on to Gods unchanging hand.

Jevaun is so loved and does not even know it. I am grateful for the love, support, and continued prayers from everyone including you, Ms. Jackie. Happy Holidays.

Yes, there is a purpose for our pain and the key is trusting and holding onto God’s unchanging hand. Thank you, Nicole, for eloquently sharing those beautiful words with us. We shall continue to keep Jevaun in our prayers. May the blessings of God shower you from above during this beautiful Thanksgiving season.
