“Run On!”

As a new year has begun, I start thinking about what my focus should be. I will continue my prayer pattern and work toward whatever God desires of me. After asking God to give me a theme for my life, this is what He gave to me,” Run On!” Very simple and to the point. What does it mean to me? Those two words encourage me to keep moving. Because the only way to achieve victory in any situation is to keep going.

A Runner in a race does not have any chance of winning if he/she stops in the beginning, middle, or end of the race. The goal is to keep going to reach the finish line and claim victory. Therefore, the same applies to the spiritual race we are in. The race isn’t given to the swift or the strong, but to those who endure until the end. “Run On!”

Despite the challenges 2026 will hold for all of us because we  live in turbulent times, God is in control of our lives and very being. Hence, fear should not overtake us because we are overcomers through Christ Jesus. Worry and faith can not dwell in the same place. One will overshadow the other. Choose to trust God and let Him do what He does best. He does all things well! Hopefully, these words will encourage you, dear readers, to keep going even when the way appears uncertain and unclear.

Without a doubt, I do know that if we allow God to lead our path, we will never go astray. People will come and go in our lives, illnesses, financial problems, and just life in general will throw some curveballs. Allow Jesus to help you navigate the stormy times. Most of all, let nothing come between you and the relationship you have with the Lord. “Run On!” my sisters and brothers. Run on because your victory is in view. Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 1 Corinthians 9:24. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Give Me Strength!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!
