“Return to the Route!”

Most people are familiar with GPS and use it to navigate routes to destinations they may be unfamiliar with. Sometimes, I also use mine to go to familiar places, which helps me get there quicker in case of a road problem. Even though I may want to use my favorite route to a destination, the GPS may suggest an alternative route. Well, what do I do sometimes? I will go back to the route I prefer. And what does my GPS say? It says, “Return to the Route!” Why? Because it knows what is ahead. Let me tell you, more than once, that when I ignored the return message, I ran into more traffic or roadblocks that made my journey much longer. Can you see where I am going with this?

Essentially, God has a plan for each person’s life. Do we know all of His plans? Definitely not! Hence, that is why, above all else, when we try to follow our path, we need to “Return to the Route!” God’s pathway is always the best. You may not understand it, and you may not initially see its value, but rest assured that it will work for your good if you allow it to. Apply this notion to your relationships, finances, daily plans, and other aspects of your life. Leave your familiar path behind and get on track with God’s spiritual GPS. His will guide you past hurts, pains, disappointments, dangers seen and unseen, failure, and other hardships. Therefore, if you are off track in life, consult God and”Return to the Route !” He chose for you.

Additionally, ignoring God’s guidance can lead to unnecessary problems and roadblocks to our blessings in life. Who wants to miss out on God’s blessings? If He tells you to go left, then do it and don’t detour to the right, where a bump in the road or worse may follow. Additionally, it’s crucial to recognize the voice of God. He may speak through the most unlikely individual. Without hesitation, when God speaks, we need to listen to His navigational message. “Return to the Route!” my sisters and brothers. He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. John 8:47. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Strength In Numbers!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!
