“Past, Present, Future!”

The “Past, Present, Future!” keeps our lives in check. Learning from the mistakes or lessons of the past can help our present-day be more fulfilling. Often, we don’t want to think about what may have occurred in our past, especially in terms of relationships. However, self-growth usually stems from things we learn from past occurrences. Most definitely, we are not to repeat some things, but others teach us valuable lessons. Sometimes, the past will become a bridge to the future.

To be sure, present relationships hold their challenges due to the uncertainties of today. Many women and men have difficulty in maintaining successful relationships. Why? There are so many reasons that come to mind. For one, many people find it difficult not to allow the woes and craziness of this world to consume them. All sorts of challenges can affect people’s relationships with one another. The “Past, Present, Future!” has much to say about who we are.

Well, the last part of the trio is the future. Only God knows what our future holds. Undoubtedly, that is a good thing. Why? Because if we knew our future, especially in terms of relationships, it might be more than we can bear. Nevertheless, our future relationships can be excellent if God orders our steps. Henceforth, if we learn from the past and keep our present God-centered, our future can bring us joy. The “Past, Present, Future!” has a story to tell about our relationships. What’s your story? Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. Psalm 147:5. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Free To Be!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

    Hello Jackie and all others
You are so “on point”. I appreciate all your inspirations and wisdom. Some times the past haunts us, the future scares us, but the present is another day/time to move forward in faith. I’ve heard the saying, “there’s nothing you can do about the past”; I disagree. We can learn from it; as you so stated. Our present decisions and choices and experiences can enrich our future,
Ask me how do I know…….

I believe we all can ask “How do I know…” Life has a way of teaching us many things. Let’s keep learning so we can continue to move forward. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts of wisdom. May God continue to bless you as you bless so many others.
