When we hear of a no-show, we immediately think of someone failing to show up to work, somewhere else, or at an event. Have you ever thought about missing things in your life? In like manner, there are times and moments in all of our lives when we feel incomplete or have broken pieces. We live in turbulent times where things that once gave us familiarity are now foreign to us. Hence it is so easy to feel discouragement, frustration, and disappointment. In other words, joy, peace, and contentment become a “No Show!”
Today’s post is to offer encouragement to you, my dear sisters. At this moment, if you are feeling less than content or joyful, that is not the place where God wants you to reside. Always His desire for us is to rejoice even when darkness appears more than light in our daily journey. Please note I didn’t say darkness in our life because the light is present if Christ resides within you. Therefore, use the power within to make negative feelings flee and become a “No Show!”
As I conclude, look up, cheer up, stand up and stay up no matter the hardships and challenges you face. Is it an easy task? No. But obtainable it is. Cloudy days with rain showers happen, but today, speak positively to the rain and storms in your life. Count your blessings, and you will see that your good days far exceed the bad ones.
Most importantly, the more trust and reliance on God, the bad days will be, if only for a time, a “No Show!” Not sure who this encouragement is for, but I pray it is functional in your life. Let us all look toward better times and days. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “A New Season-Fall!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
