“Never Ever!”

I was sitting and listening to Cece Winans song, “Never Lost,” one day, and the lyrics just resonated in my soul. If you haven’t heard it, listen to it, and I am sure it will bless your soul likewise. The song speaks of Jesus never losing a battle, and He never will. Various trials and situations unimaginable a year ago have plagued us, but we are still standing, which is a miracle in itself. I know with assurance that Jesus has never lost any battle, so we are victorious regardless of what we may face. We must abide in Him and stay connected. If we do, we can say, “Never Ever!”

For that reason, I encourage you, dear readers, to sit a few minutes today and think of all the miracles that God has performed in your life up to this present moment. Think of how He has kept you in what I believe is the most disastrous season in our lives. Focus on your met needs, how you can eat every day, and pay your bills. Seemingly the pandemic is our new battlefield, an invisible enemy who lurks everywhere. Even though there is a vaccine, the battle is not over. But, Jesus never loses a battle. Never Ever!

Hence many individuals face battlegrounds of loneliness, heartache, and despair. We all know someone in our family or friends who lost someone either physically or emotionally during this season. Physical separation and loss through death are traumatic, but emotional upset can be disastrous also. If you are single and alone or married and feel the touch of loneliness, despair, or brokenness, know that Jesus is fighting this battle for you also. You do not have to face it alone. Never Ever!

To this end, keep your encouragement level up. Don’t let it fall to the level of depression. I don’t know who I am talking to, but God wants you to see the battle does not belong to you. He further wants you to know He sees your tears and hears your silent cry for relief. Nothing is impossible with our heavenly Father. He does all things well even when we cannot understand the whats and the whys of our heartaches. I feel His love and care in my life, and I hope you feel it in yours. He has never lost a battle. Never Ever! He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me. Psalm 55:18. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “It’s In My Heart!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!
