Christmas is a beautiful and joyful season where some say dreams and wishes come true. Have you ever desired or wished for something special to happen during the Christmas season? Did you get what you wanted? It would be wonderful if our dreams and wishes would come true, and some will if they align with the intentions of God. Therefore, as I sit writing this post, I think about what I sincerely really want this Christmas. Will I wish for something for me or someone else? Should it be a large or small request? How will I feel when my wish comes true, or if it doesn’t happen? “My Only Wish This Christmas!”
Well, after thinking about what I genuinely desire this year for Christmas, I have come up with one wish. However, not for riches or material things, not even something directly for me. But, during this season of giving, sharing, and bringing joy to someone else, my desire and wish are for each of my children to have one thing that their heart desires. Without a doubt, that is “My Only Wish This Christmas!” I have beautiful children, including my daughter-in-love, who all need a special blessing from the Lord. Therefore, if I could give them one priceless gift, it would be for them all to have something special their hearts desire.
Additionally, if you could have one wish this Christmas, what would it be? Would it be for yourself or someone else you know or don’t know? We are only a few days from celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, who is a gift that keeps on giving. Jesus never stops giving, and He is the reason for this lovely season. Moreover, before Christmas Day arrives, take a moment and the opportunity to think of a wish you would love to come true.
Lastly, the readers and I would love to hear your wish. Please share your thoughts with us. Maybe we can even pray that God will give you your desire. As always, let’s make sure that we align our desires with God’s will as much as possible. I love Christmas time! Do you? God, please grant, “My Only Wish This Christmas!” Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Leave It Behind!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
Sister Jackie
One of my wishes this season is for one of my sons to rededicated his life to Christ and come off the street. Like Jackie i pray for the desires of the heart of all my children be filled.
Thank you for sharing your Christmas wish. I pray that what you desire for your son will come to fruition. I ask first for God to give him a mind to serve Him and give him the means to give up his street living. God bless you in this glorious season where miracles do happen. God’s joy and peace to you!
One of my wishes for Christmas is just peace and joy for my family. I want my family truly happy and bonded and strong to weather the many storms that comes our way. I want to truly this year find a Job that will allow me to provide for all in my family and leave me with less worry, putting me just in a better mental space to be the wife and mother and individual I know I can be to them and myself, but everyday stressors puts a damper on that sometimes. I just want a better situation so this Christmas I just continue God provides the job to assist with that OR he really has some connection with me to show me what it is he truly wants from me to start my business if that’s his will. All in all I want happiness and joy and peace within my family, whatever that maybe. Merry Christmas !
The joy of the Lord is our strength! There is a peace that God gives that surpasses all understanding. I pray that God will grant you and your family joy and peace as only He can do. And what He does is always done well. May the grace of God cover and keep you as well as grant you this desire of your heart. Have a merry, merry, and blessed Christmas!
I really want a baby. That is my one special wish. Of course in addition to practice love and joy for my family. But my heart’s desire is for a baby.
God bless you, Joanne! Children are blessings from God, and I pray that God will grant you your heart’s desire. Before I got pregnant with my first child, I read 1Samuel 1:19-20 for one whole month. I conceived during that month. I was newly married and not sure whether I could have children or not, but I turned to the scriptures and made my request known to God, and He answered me. Give your request to the Lord. May the joy of this Christmas season be with you and your family!
