Sometimes, we can hold onto something so long that we don’t want to let go even though God says let it go. Our ways, thoughts, and means do not always reflect the principles of God or His plans for our lives. Accordingly, we must trust God for all things, regardless of understanding His plan. Hence, it’s time to “Loosen Your Grip!” and willingly allow God to take control. Control is His alone, but it is better when we willingly surrender to His will. Undoubtedly, obedience is better than sacrifice any day of the week. Trusting God tests our desire to submit to His divine will.
Furthermore, our general being, our relationships, our mental state, and our finances, to name a few, should be under the governance of our Savior. Each day, I am learning to trust God more in my life. How about you? Are you giving Him your concerns, heartaches, needs, and desires and leaving them in His hands? Or do you put them there and snatch them back as soon as storms rise and times are more unpredictable? We live in harsh times but serve an omnipotent God who sees and knows all. Therefore, “Loosen Your Grip!” on the things of life. Learn to relax in knowing God’s divine love and caring for you.
As I close, remember that our life will be more satisfying and fruitful when we loosen up the hold we try to have over our lives. God is faithful to His Word. His Word will never fail. However, we will fail every time we step aside from God’s will and try to act like we know what is best for us. As in the words of our youth, “Chill” and sit back and watch God work. Most importantly, He will amaze us every time with how effortlessly He guides our lives. Emphatically, don’t be afraid to “Loosen Your Grip!” It’s time! Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord. Lamentations 3:40. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Abundant Rain!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!

What a Word! “…remember that our life will be more satisfying and fruitful when we loosen up the hold we try to have over our lives.”
For I myself have learned that sometimes if you try to hold on too tight of a grip, that you can choke the life out, or it will slip out of your grip with great struggle and get away and never return. And it is not only when we try to hold on to control over our lives, but even when we try to hold on to control of someone else’s life. Trying not only to “make” things be what we want, but trying to make others be what we want them to be.
Thank you so much for sharing this powerful “life lesson” about ourselves, others, our relationships, and our desires. Because, truly, only God knows what is best in every situation for us all, and how to perfectly manifest it.
May God Bless and Keep You, and all of us, encouraged in the Power of His Might “alone”.
