Do you ever feel you need something special to come your way? Does what you desire warrant an act of God to come to fruition? We live in a different day with so many things happening beyond our imagination. Where can we turn? There is only one place, and that is to God, “Looking For A Miracle!” Because we have not gone beyond this pandemic yet, some of our desires may be harder to attain, especially regarding relationships in this season.
First, semi separation of individuals makes it harder to meet other individuals. I call it semi separation because even though we have more freedom of leaving our homes and being with others, safety is a crucial component of socializing. Ladies who continue to yearn for a relationship with someone who can become a spouse one day find it difficult to be “found.” Yes, he who finds a wife obtaineth a good thing, but our health crisis is not making it easy to find anyone. Lord, we are “Looking For A Miracle!”
Even though circumstances are not ideal for courtships, I know some discouraged women who wonder when they will have the companionship they desire. It’s easy to say hold on, keep praying, and don’t give up, but I know it is often easier said than done. I often wonder when God will give me the desire of my heart, but I know enough that I can not allow my faith to fail. Neither can you. From time to time, I feel the need to encourage my sisters who feel lonely. Some question themselves, Why me? As my dad said when he discovered he had cancer, “Why not me?” I encourage you to keep “Looking For A Miracle!”
In summation, the pandemic is here. We can’t send it away. I wish we could, but only God can do that. So, when discouragement sets in along with loneliness and doubt, don’t give in to those feelings. There is hope as long as we have the breath of life in us. Where should our hope lie? It should be in Jesus Christ because He is a miracle worker against all odds, sicknesses, pandemics, and other opposing forces. Therefore continue “Looking For A Miracle!” It’s coming your way! I am expecting a miracle in my life. And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Luke 18:27. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “What About The Children?”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
Sister Jackie
Amen, and Thank you for these encouraging words. I totally believe in miracles from our God, and I not only expect them, I look at my life in itself as a miracle. I look at every day and every moment of my life as a miracle that God gives me, just for me. And, I also understand that we look at certain miracles as special, for they are special desires of our heart or a need that we have, even often unexpected miracles, and I too am looking for these special miracles in my life and in the life of others also.
May God bless and keep you encouraged as you allow Him to continue to use you to encourage others!
So true; we can all say our life is a miracle. But, for the grace of God, we would be like a ship without a sail drifting to and fro with no direction. Thank you for your encouraging words and untiring support. May the grace and mercy of our Savior send miracles your way that you cannot even imagine. God bless you always.
