I recently listened to a song by Brent Jones, and the lyrics reminded us that it is good to be alive, but it is better to live. Definitely, so true! Each day, I thank God for being alive. Accordingly, I do not take it for granted that I am still alive. Nevertheless, I want to be more than alive; I want to “Live, Live, Live!” Without a doubt, I have soooo much to live for. To name a few, I have three beautiful reasons to live (London, Riley and Brynn).
There are more reasons, but those three cause me to smile and hold on regardless of what comes my way. Sometimes, we can struggle to stay alive and forget to live. Living is more than going from day to day and merely existing. All living things exist, but we want to live life to its whole degree. Catch on to something that gives you hope and “Live, Live, Live!”
Every day, I open my eyes, and I do so with gratitude and appreciation. Furthermore, I realize I have another opportunity to do good and strengthen my relationship with God and others. Despite the challenges we may face daily, it is good to be alive and able to live each day fully. Life is good regardless of what comes our way. Remember, trouble only lasts for a while. Every season has an expiration date.
As I think of last year, I feel so much joy from all the beautiful trips my daughter took me on. Places I wanted to visit, such as the Grand Canyon and California, I was able to do so. Living through those moments makes me smile even when life’s circumstances become less desirable. “Live, Live, Live!” is what we must do.
Although I understand why some individuals struggle daily due to challenges, I encourage them to find a small glimmer of hope and live. Jesus is why we all can live more abundantly if we choose Him. Hence, life is short and quickly moving on with time. Do you only want to exist in this life and later face the reality that you lost out on so many opportunities? Why? Because of the fear of enjoying life or allowing others to hinder you from enjoying your life while they enjoy their own. “Live, Live, Live!” while you have a chance.
In conclusion, if you remember nothing else from this post, only you can decide to live. Jesus won’t force you, and neither should anyone else. The choice is yours to either merely be alive or live life fully while alive. From this day forward, as you look in the mirror, ask the person looking back at you, “Are you merely alive or genuinely living?” Depending on the response, you may have some action to take. I have lived for more years than to come, and I plan on living fully until I leave here or when Jesus comes back for His people. Sisters and brothers, “Live, Live, Live!” I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. Psalm 104:33. I’ll return next week with a new post, “I Can Forgive!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!

AMEN, Yes and Amen again! “… allowing others to hinder you from enjoying your life while they enjoy their own.” This was a hard lesson for me to learn personally, but now i got it! I didn’t understand the manipulation of their trying to position me to meet their desires regardless of my desire not to, or any costly inconvenience to myself, and even moreso, sometimes to my detriment. And sometimes they even tried to make me feel guilty when I didn’t cooperate. Then they would go on happy and content and I only felt used. This was a good one Sis…keep up the God-work, for iron truly sharpens iron. I’ve learned to be more concerned about pleasing God and that takes care of everyone else that He would have us to make sacrifices for to please. May God continually bless and keep you🌹!!
Amen and Amen! Thank you for those wonderful words. I love reading your comments! I, too, am more concerned about pleasing God than humanity. When God is pleased, everything else falls into place, and God will never use or abuse us. May the God of peace, life, and sustainability give you a more abundant life as you continue on your journey of living. God bless you!
