“Leave It All Behind!”

Do you sometimes allow your mind to drift back to the past? Is that a good thing or not? It can be both. Sometimes the past reminds us of lessons we have learned. But, when we look back, and the experience is painful, we must know we must “Leave It All Behind!” After all, who wants to inflict sadness or remorse in their life purposely? No one. Most importantly, looking forward in life gives us a focus that can be more joyful.

My dear sisters, if you struggle with past hurts and indecisions, the best way to overcome your struggles is to look forward to better days. Remember, trouble will not last permanently. Without a doubt, the sun eventually shines again after a storm. So, “Leave It All Behind!” Those of you who went through a complex relationship and are afraid to venture into another one, be careful, but know the next one can be better.

In brief, keep a positive outlook on life, and know that life holds many joyful opportunities just waiting for you. Let go of uncertainty and fear that may hinder you from receiving the blessings of God. When your mind sends you on a roller coaster, it is time to “Leave It All Behind!” Press forward with the Lord as your guide, and He will ensure that your path will lead to special blessings. He does all things well! But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Be Happy!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

Sister Jackie
