Here we are again in December, the most beautiful month of the year for me. Yes, every month has its charm, but December is in a class of its own! Is this month joyful for everyone? Sadly, the answer is no. For some, there is pain from their circumstances, be it health, finances, personal issues, or whatever. Others may desire material things they see in this beautiful season but cannot obtain them for various reasons. Whereas the real reason for this lovely season is what gives me such “Joy, Joy, Joy!”
Despite what I am personally experiencing, which is too long to go into at this time but is causing me grief, I choose “Joy, Joy, Joy!” You may ask me how if you knew the circumstances, but in times less desirable, we can’t faint and lose hope or joy. The joy of the Lord is my strength and yours too. Hence there is so much more to be grateful and joyful for; there is really little time to be anxious, distressed, or heartbroken.
Additionally, the beautiful Christmas songs, the beautiful lights, and Christmas displays truly brighten my days and nights. Also, everyone knows I love Hallmark Christmas movies. Most importantly, this time of year gives me more opportunities to give and share with others to provide them with “Joy, Joy, Joy!”
In conclusion, let this entire month bring you the joy of knowing that we will celebrate our Savior’s birth and have opportunities to serve others with joy. This month, strengthen your relationships with spouses, significant others, family, and friends by being a bundle of joy to them. Our actions can bring surprising reactions from those we care for and love. This month let the spirit of “Joy, Joy, Joy!” flow from you for all the world to see. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Dance in the Storm!”
One last comment: Thank you, thank you, thank you again to each of my guest writers( Sis. Audrey, Elder Jarad, Pastor Brenda, Monique, and Janelle)who participated in the November “Sharing the Spotlight” series. Each of you brought me great joy!❤️
Be encouraged, and God bless!

AMEN! Thank God for “JOY” in my soul and PEACE in my mind and LOVE in my heart!!! Thank You for sharing these uplifting words because we may “go through” undesired situations sometimes and we need encouragement. So glad that God gives us the “Oil of Joy” for our mourning in our times of sadness, as He gives us beauty for our ashes in our times of loss, as He makes the Restoration even sweeter.
God Bless you too Sis. JOY, SWEET JOY!!!!
Thank you so much for your uplifting, encouraging, and supportive words. They mean a lot to me during this time. Thank God for His unending, bountiful joy, peace, and love today, tomorrow, and forever more. I choose God’s joy over every struggle or challenge I may face. May God bless you with abundant joy in your life!
