This post will be a short one. I say that often, and the post becomes three or four paragraphs, but the title sums it up nicely. “Jesus Is Everything!” What more could I desire as I think about this beautiful season I dearly love? I understand that some people lack a relationship with our Savior, so their understanding of the season lacks genuine meaning. But I am so grateful for all He is doing and has done for me this year that I have nothing but gratitude in my heart.
Granted, the lights, festivities, special treats, and beautiful decorations all contribute to our joyful feelings, but knowing who Jesus is goes beyond all that. “Jesus Is Everything!” My heart goes out to those individuals who are brokenhearted, lonely, in despair, suffering financially, and more. Hence, it may appear everything is bleak with no light at the end of the tunnel, but there is light. Jesus is the light of this world. That may be why I love the Christmas lights so much. Do me a favor, please. If you know someone sad and hopeless during this season, tell them, “Jesus is Everything!” He rewards those who diligently seek Him.
As I conclude, I challenge you to bring joy to someone this week who does not have the joy that you have. Maybe they need a kind word, financial help, or anything in between; do it. Spread some joy. I will do it and share what I did with you. God will lead me to the person who needs to know “Jesus Is Everything!” and hope is alive. Please share with the readers what kindness you bestow on someone the next time you comment on a post. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God. John 11:40. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “A Christmas Miracle!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
