“It’s Time to Work!”

We must do our part by working to get anything done in life. Working can take many forms, but at the end of the day, we look for some results from our labor. My sisters, “It’s Time to Work!” Today, I focus on work in relationships. Naturally, it is so easy to sit back and be critical of the one we are in a relationship with. Nevertheless, each one bears responsibility for the relationship’s growth or lack thereof. Therefore, somebody has to have a mind to work on building the relationship. “It’s Time to Work!”

Before I conclude this post, let me make three important points: 1. It’s not all about you and what you want. 2. Relationships require patience and self-sacrifice at times. My mother sometimes said, “This isn’t Burger King, and you can’t always have it your way.” 3. Be prepared to work hard if you want your personal, marital, or whatever relationship to succeed. Love is a choice, along with who we decide to be in a relationship with. Undoubtedly, sometimes, we take our choices for granted. Accordingly, then selfishness may creep in. However, if the relationship is to grow, “It’s Time to Work!”

To summarize this post, let’s not be selfish and want more than we give. Prepare to work for the success of your relationship. Never take someone for granted or the things they do for you. In the twinkling of an eye, things can rapidly change! It’s Time to Work!” So, let’s get busy! In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. Proverbs 14:23. I’ll return next week with a new post, “I Love Me!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!
