I am sitting at my car dealership having one of my cars serviced, so I have been writing. This is the third post. I am tired now. 😊. Recently, I have heard the word “assignment” a lot. What is an assignment? Simply a task or work someone gives you to do. Should we be able to complete our assignment? I believe so. Sometimes, God chooses us for assignments we would never choose for ourselves because we feel inadequate. But God, the all-knowing, omnipotent God, knew our capabilities before creation. Therefore, what He assigns, “It’s My Assignment!”
There have been situations in my life that I felt were so hard, but God let me know it was not about me-Jackie, but to glorify Him! If you catch that, I can end this post now!!! Once I was able to grasp that, my journey became easier. Yes, life can be a roller coaster with more twists and turns than we want, but we are more than conquerors with the Lord as our Shepherd. We are victors. So stop stressing, crying, and falling to pieces because everything is not rosy for you. “It’s My Assignment!”
Remember, God knows how much we can all bear. And He is a just God. Let Him get the glory out of your life, and a crown of righteousness awaits you and me one day. “It’s My Assignment!” and I will pass the test!” Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalms 27:14. I’ll return next week with a new post, “What Can I Do?”
Be encouraged, and God bless!

Amen
God bless you, Rita! Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
Amen!!!! This blog is so appropriate.
I too, have felt so inadequate when given an assignment from God. I have wrestled with the thought, “Not me”, I can’t do that; but God; then He so gently reminds me of His word; “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me”.
Amen! His strength is sufficient and will take us where we need to go. God bless and keep you through every assignment you are given!
