“It’s Gonna Be Alright!”

There is so much going on in the world today and in our personal lives. It seems like if it isn’t one thing, it’s two other things. As soon as one thing ends, something else begins. People struggle financially, socially, in their jobs, and even more disturbing in their homes and relationships. We can manage most things, but if we have to face daily distress and heartache in the place we call home, it gets a little challenging. But, I am here to tell you, “It’s gonna be alright!”

Do you know anyone who is experiencing difficulties in their relationship-marital or single? Or are you experiencing relationship challenges that seem to have only a beginning but no end? The last year brought health issues to the forefront, but also relationship issues. Why? Not sure, but maybe because there are fewer what I call stress outlets. We lost most of our freedom for the last year and had to succumb to a new way of living—no more spontaneous shopping excursions, luncheon and dinner dates with friends, or traveling, etc. Couples who work at home spend twenty-four hours together. Not a bad thing, but when issues and problems arrive, there is no escape. It’s gonna be alright!

Therefore, we all need someone from time to time. A listening ear and a word of support can go a long way. Encourage someone who you may know that is experiencing relationship problems. Please help them to know that cloudy days won’t last forever; the sun will shine again. I wrote this post in response to the heartache I know a few of my sisters are experiencing at this time. I say to them, remember that God is loving, caring, merciful, and all-knowing. He will not put more on you than you can bear. Make prayer and petitions to God your first and last choice. Everything in between will fall into place. It’s gonna be alright!

Lastly, if any of you dear readers are in the midst of a relationship storm and don’t have a support system or want to share what you are experiencing, encourage yourself in the Lord. God is faithful to those who diligently seek Him. I pray for your peace and renewed joyfulness. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 2 Corinthians 4:8. It’s gonna be alright, my sisters! I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Why Did You Ask?”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

Sister Jackie this word is so on time and for me. Marriage is not easy and you will have times you want to throw in the towel. Ask God for direction and utilize your support system therapy is good too. God is faithful and keeps his promises. I found that trials in marriage reveal what needs to be addressed not only together but individually. You both come out better and stronger.

Wow! So profound-“trials in marriage reveal what needs to be addressed not only together but individually.” I agree. When we are whole individually, it makes the relationship better and stronger. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this post. May the grace of God cover your marriage and strengthen it day by day as only He can do. God bless you!

    Hello Jackie and others,
We all have been and perhaps still experiencing some difficult times. I’m not talking about minor issues that we can cope with easily, but a major issue. When they’re monumental, the Bible calls them mountains. A mountain represents an oversized situation that is limiting your progress and blocking you from moving forward. When a problem is so big that there seems to be no earthly solution to fix it, take it to God and leave it there.
Someone once said; you will never discover that God is all you need until God is all you have.
The doesn’t mean we should throw in the towel or give up; but take the issue to God, trust him to direct your path.
I forgot to mention, that it is easier said than done: however, read about Jehoshaphat in 2Chronicles chapter 20 or Paul and Silas Acts 16 or Joshua 6:3-5

Thank you so much for your insightful comments. I like the statement, “When a problem is so big that there seems to be no earthly solution to fix it, take it to God and leave it there.” It is easier said than done, but once done, the results are “heavenly.” God is the God of all solutions, no matter how big the problems may be. May God bless and keep you in His loving care.
