“It Doesn’t Make Sense!”

Many things happen in life that appear to have no rhyme or reason. In general, we may say, “It Doesn’t Make Sense!” On the one hand, that may be good, and on the other hand, it may not be so good. Let’s explore both ways briefly. Sometimes, we come face to face with what is pure nonsense. There is no rhyme or reason for the treatment we receive.

However, what is truly problematic is that we accept it. To this end, I ask, have you not heard that you are a child of the king, which boldly means you deserve the best? Am I talking to anybody? When we allow others, through relationships, friendships, or other means that tie us together, to take advantage of us. “It Doesn’t Make Sense!”

Each day, I see more and more of what God wants me to experience in my life, and it is not craziness, although I do know that trials and tribulations will come. Why? Because they will increase my faith in Him if I allow them to and make me stronger. Nevertheless, I don’t expect to be misused or abused in the process. What about you? Now let’s switch gears to the other side of “It Doesn’t Make Sense!”

Are you experiencing things that you don’t understand, but they’re over-the-top blessings from God? Someone might have said you shouldn’t, couldn’t, or wouldn’t ever reach the level of success you are now. But, God! You are going places where others only dream to be, or you are paying bills that don’t match your income, or God may have even blessed you with other desires of your heart. “It Doesn’t Make Sense!” but the favor of God is hovering over your life. Enjoy it, but most of all, let Him know you are grateful for His mercy and loving-kindness.

In conclusion, we all experience things that make us say, “It Doesn’t Make Sense!” but for goodness’ sake, I pray that it’s on the good side of the senses. I can personally say that God is doing great things for me in my life, and each day, I awake with a smile and joy in my heart. Does that mean everything is going well or perfect for me? Absolutely not, but I have no complaints because I am experiencing the joy and blessings of our awesome God. And in times of problems or afflictions, He brings me through. Some days, “It Doesn’t Make Sense!” 😊When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Half Empty, Half Full!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

AMEN! “When a man’s ways please The Lord, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Proverbs
    16:7
Very well stated on your subject “It Doesn’t Make Sense!”. Made me think about the statement “It doesn’t add up!”. So while others are trying to figure it out, because it just doesn’t add up, it doesn’t make sense, one can have the peace of God in knowing that He is not trying to make things make sense to those whose ways don’t please Him. So glad for me and all others that have come into the knowledge that the best place to be is in the “Will of God”, for that is the only place that pleases Him. I pray Lord help us to please You in all our ways and to be in Your Will, so that even our enemies will be at peace with us.
May our God continually bless you and give you peace. And as always Sister Jackie, you take on the “deep” matters of the heart and spirit, and expound on it so richly!
