“Happy Resurrection Day 2023!”

Praise God! He lives. Henceforth because He lives, we can face every one of our tomorrows. Resurrection Day gets less attention than Christmas Day by many people. Everyone rejoices at the birth of someone. No matter whether it’s a human birth or the birth of an animal. People celebrate. However, we all need to rejoice in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. If He had only been born but not crucified, we would not have had the opportunity for eternal life. “Happy Resurrection Day 2023!”

Therefore, rejoice today in the God of our salvation. Today as you attend your Resurrection Day service, enter into His gates with Thanksgiving and into His court with praise. Furthermore, we must remember how the blood of Jesus is yet covering us during this pandemic, which may never be officially over. But, God! Additionally, our heavenly Father loves us so much that He freely gave His life so we may live again. Good Friday began the journey of Jesus on the cross. He was humiliated, tortured, ridiculed, and had the power to come down from the cross, but that was not in His thoughts. His thoughts were toward us and the plans he had for us through His blood’s redemption. I am so grateful that Jesus loves me. I don’t know why He loves me so, but I am glad, glad, glad! “Happy Resurrection Day 2023!”

Without a doubt, this is a day to be celebrated by everyone because His love has no respect of a person. He loves us all. When you give someone a gift, you expect them to be grateful and say thank you. Have you ever given someone a gift and they didn’t show any appreciation? No words of thanks. How did you feel? It’s not a good feeling, but because you gave from your heart, you did not begrudge the person. “Happy Resurrection Day 2023!”

Moreover, Jesus gave from His heart all that He could provide us. Let’s not make Him feel we are not grateful. If only for today. Give the Lord some over-the-top praise. Enter the sanctuary shouting and praising the Lord. If you magnify His name today, His death will not be in vain. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. Mark 16:6. “Happy Resurrection Day 2023!” May the joy of God be with you today, tomorrow, and forever more!

God bless you!
