What a blessing it is to be a mother! Mothers are God’s precious gift to us. Although some mothers may not carry out their motherly duties as mothers should, they still wear the title of mother. The bible reminds us to honor our mother and father that our days may be long on the earth. If you have a mother, thank God for her. I lost my mom ten years ago, but my love for her will never die. She was a beautiful, loving, caring, precious jewel from above. None of us gets to choose our mother, and when we are given a remarkable woman as our mom, it is a blessing like no other. “Happy Mother’s Day 2025!”

Mothers come in different forms, some are aunts, sisters, cousins, godmothers, spiritual mothers, and adopted mothers. Hence, they are special and the only mothers some children will ever know. This year, I lost my godmother, Mother Queenie Bee. She was very special to me. I thank God for the many years she was in my life. I appreciate my spiritual mother, Mother Edwards, whose untiring love and support mean so much to me. “Happy Mother’s Day 2025!”

Today, I am so grateful to be a mother and grandmother. I am also thankful for those who lovingly call me their “Other Mother”. What an honor. I honor you on this special day, every mother and soon-to-be mother. No amount of money could compensate you for everything you do for your children and/or grandchildren. Special shout out to my daughter-in-love, Bianca, for her extraordinary job as a mother to my three beautiful granddaughters. Another shout out to my niece Kadeidra, who is another fantastic mother. I commend all of the young mothers who, with all the challenges of motherhood, put their children first.
