Do you feel like you’re the only one going through something as complex as what you’re going through? Think again, my sisters and brothers. You are not alone, and “God is Just!”. Therefore, He will not allow more on you than you can bear, nor will He only send trials your way. Believe me, “God is Just!” Furthermore, we all have a season of going through something. Although our trials, difficulties, and afflictions never feel good to us, they do work for our good and heavenly gain when we come out as pure gold. Gold is not pure until it undergoes purification. We have impurities such as doubt, fear, and disobedience, which will hinder our purity in God.
Additionally, if we never suffer and never feel pain or heartache, would we be faithful to God? Would we continue to fast and pray? Can you remember a time in your life when everything was going well, with no health issues no marital or other relationship problems? Budgeting your money was not an option because you had more than enough to sustain your needs and wants. Your children were role models for other young people, and I could go on and on. During those times, we often tend to enjoy the moments, laugh, and have a good time while praying and fasting less. Perhaps not you, but I believe we have all been there at some point. “God is Just!” and seasons change.
Therefore, let us not abuse God’s favor. When our time comes to experience less than joyful things, let us continue to offer our praises. The love of God extends to us all, as well as His grace and mercy. As a final reminder, “God is Just!” and His ways are just. In times of trials, illnesses, relationship problems, or financial woes, don’t get angry with God. In all things, no matter how hurtful, give thanks to Jesus Christ because, for that season, it is His will concerning you. And He will take you through what He allows to come to you. Believe me; I know! It is joy to the just to do judgement: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. Proverbs 21:15. I’ll return next week with a new post, “It Don’t Make Sense!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
