When you think of routines, what do you think of? Basically, routines are a sequence of actions we regularly follow. Everyone has some notable routines that are a daily part of their life. Whether good or bad, happy or sad routines guide our lives. Furthermore, our existence is haphazard, with no routines at all. Also, a change in routines is helpful occasionally. Now, let’s apply routines to personal relationships. Do you have set routines that you use in your relationships? Specifically, are you stuck in those routines and have no intention of changing some of them? Well, if so, please consider this. “Fresh Routines!” may yield better or more positive results in your relationship.
Accordingly, we should avoid getting stuck in one way of doing something. Whether a relationship is personal, familial, or of a work nature, sometimes a situation warrants “Fresh Routines!” Think about it. How do you feel when someone says, “I always do it this way?” Maybe so, but there is often a more efficient and workable way. My sisters and brothers who read this post, please know that a fresh and new way is sometimes good. Hence, feel free to release some of your ways of doing things.
As I conclude, please allow this post as a reminder that everyone occasionally feels their way is the best, but that is not necessarily true. Someone can make something way better possibly. Who does not love freshness? We love fresh vegetables, fruits, clothes, hairstyles, etc. They all make us feel better. So it is in relationships. Bring in some “Fresh Routines!” or allow others to utilize their routines; who knows, it might be a good thing to freshen the relationship! But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Psalm 92:10. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Timing Is Everything!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
Sister Jackie
So VERY true. I know that I have sometimes learned a lot when I have, at least, “listened” to someone show me “another” way of looking at or doing something. This made me think about some that are “set in their ways” and have a “their way or the highway” attitude, and they miss out on something beneficial to them and to others, not understanding that sometimes, “change is good”!
Thanks again for sharing helpful words of wisdom and knowledge for a better and clearer understanding, not only for our spiritual growth but also helpful for our daily lives. Thank you for your words of encouragement and I pray that you too, stay encouraged and that God continues to bless you too!
Thank you for the wise comments. And yes change is good from time to time for us all. I am learning that personally. God bless you, Sis. Audrey for always being so encouraging and supportive of me. Blessings upon blessings upon your life!
