“For My Good!”

Do you sometimes wonder why certain things are happening in your life? Is your faith wavering because you lack understanding and the why of it all? Furthermore, are you experiencing challenges you once saw in the lives of other individuals you may know? Just a few rhetorical questions for you to ponder. Despite the trials, tribulations, and woes in your life, have you taken the time to say, “For My Good!”

Whereas, after all, we have endured the last two years in this pandemic, you may feel a change is due. I certainly do, but the reality is complexities of life still exist. We all feel we need a break from hardship, deaths, financial burdens, and many other abnormalities. But, we are not in control of our lives. Chiefly, a caring God looks out for us and implements a plan for our life. A strategy that is “For My Good!”

Recently, I was in a conversation with someone who is in a fiery furnace like the Hebrew boys. There is a significant difference, though. This person is not looking beyond the heat and flames. As simple as the notion is, we forget that every challenge, heartache, or pain in our relationships (personal and non-personal) will not burn us. Do I need to repeat that simple affirmation? My dear readers, please remember this. If you are living for Christ, from time to time, take a step back and say, my heartaches are, “For My Good!”

I conclude with a simple statement. Without a doubt, God is trustworthy, caring, and loving. He sees beyond what we could even imagine. Let God’s loving arms cradle you in this season. I don’t know which of you reading this post is at a crossroads in your life where options appear to be few. You only need one option, nevertheless. God. I choose Him “For My Good!” Because all things work for the good of those who love God. What about you? And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. I’ll be back next week with a new post, ” Trouble Can’t Last Always!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!
