Whether a doctor’s order, recipe, manual, or a note from your boss, they all have something in common. What is the commonality? Instructions. Hence, to get the best results from instructions, you must “Follow the Instructions!” So, it is in life. God gives us instructions through His divine word. Following His instructions leads us to an abundant life full of love and joy even when experiencing pain, dismay, heartache, health, or financial issues. Furthermore, His instructions are the only ones that lead us to eternal life.
Accordingly, it may be hard to do if you are experiencing a less-than-satisfactory life, but take a look at yourself. Who may be at fault if your relationships are not what you desire them to be? No one person should bear the burden of all the responsibility of ensuring that everything goes well. Nevertheless, looking at ourselves will likely manifest areas we need to develop. Sometimes, God will speak to our hearts and give us instructions that will enrich our relationships even though we may not understand. Remember, throughout the Bible, some of His instructions may not have made sense to us, but they always yielded the best result. Therefore, “Follow the Instructions!”
Lastly, it is a well-known fact that instructions serve a purpose. The best cake creations are when we follow the instructions that include all the ingredients. Following your doctor’s instructions can be the difference between life and death. Even though God is the source of our healing, He has given earthly knowledge to others to help us here on earth. As I conclude, in whatever way God speaks to us. Whether through spiritual leaders, family, friends, or whoever He chooses, we must learn to listen; after listening, we must “Follow the Instructions!” to be whole. He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. Proverbs 16:20. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Don’t Get Tired!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
