Life can be a whirlwind! Don’t you agree? There are so many challenges due to our ever-changing society and world at large. Nevertheless, we have a God we can depend on and plainly ask to “Fix It!” Whatever we need done. I was speaking to someone recently and saying how short life is. Therefore, there is no time to hold grudges or unforgiveness in our hearts toward anyone. There is a fix for every problem; we only need the right “Fixer.”
Furthermore, we all need and deserve happiness and lots of joy. Each day, my dear sisters look for highlights. Those things that occur that are troublesome allow God to take control and “Fix It!” As I write this post, I am also in conversation with someone who has given up on having a meaningful relationship. Understandably, it is difficult for Christian women of all ages to have a suitable mate. What in the world is happening to our men folk? So many entrapments have caused them to stray away from God. Lord, “Fix It!”
Despite how gloomy things may appear or how much we desire meaningful relationships, dear hearts, keep looking to God to provide your heart’s desire. Today is not the time to go backward in our relationship with God. I recently gave a sermon admonishing us to “check our oil” and ensure the Holy Spirit remains in our vessel. Lastly, as a reminder, let’s stay in the right relationship with others so our personal and non-personal relationships can thrive. When intervention is necessary to repair a relationship, let God “Fix It!” The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. Proverbs 10:29. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Love Me!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
Sister Jackie
This is right it line with what I’ve been praying about recently. I feel God calling me to quiet my life, be purposeful with how I spend my time, and do an inventory of my heart. I don’t want to hold on to any bitterness toward anyone. As you mentioned life is short and I don’t want anything in my heart that shouldn’t be there. Thank you for this post, love you Mama Jackie.
Thank you so much, my daughter, for sharing your thoughts. Yes, with our limited time on earth, we have no time to waste on things that bring us less than joy and fulfillment. May God’s love, peace, joy, and grace cover you today and always. Love you.
