As we continue this mode of thankfulness today, I center on “Family Thanks!” How important is family to you? Family is everything to me! Often, family members are taken for granted because they do things naturally. Nevertheless, a show of gratitude on our part goes a long way. Hence, we should value our family and every act of kindness, love, and support they render. Additionally, as a reminder, life is very short, and we cannot waste a moment.

Therefore, don’t put off for tomorrow the love you can show today toward family. If you unfortunately do not have the relationship you desire with family, you reach out. Moreover, forbid unforgiveness from residing in your heart. Have you ever met or known someone at odds with a family member? I have, and when that family member passed away, the person was so distraught. Why? I speculate it is because they never get a chance to get it right with the person. “Family Thanks!”

Before I close out this post, let me shout out to my daughter Monique, a precious jewel who always supports me, loves me, and does whatever she can unconditionally. My baby son Christopher doesn’t say much but is always there for his momma. God gave me a bonus daughter, Bianca, who loves and supports me in any way she can. Last but not least, my three precious granddaughters shower me with so much love. When they see me, they put me on celebrity status, lol. “Family Thanks!” I am so grateful for my family and know I am never alone.

To summarize, during this Thanksgiving season, show as much love as possible toward family. Forgive if you need to, say sorry if you need to, and let love for family reign in your heart. Why? Because family is everything! “Family Thanks!” And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.   2Corinthians 6:18.
