“Face the Truth!”

As much as people speak about truth and honesty, they sometimes have a problem hearing the truth. The truth can be hard to hear sometimes, primarily when it doesn’t support a person’s feelings. What does truth do? It makes you look at things differently. Is telling the truth best? You better believe it. Nevertheless, one must prepare for the truth’s outcomes regardless of yield. “Face the Truth!”

In this post, let me say just a few words. Don’t try to cover up the truth about anything. Understand that knowing the truth will free us if we allow it to. In keeping with the words of Maya Angelou, when someone shows us who they are, we should believe them the first time. Hence, whatever a person shows you about them initially is most likely the truth of their character. Sometimes, we want to make a person or a situation into something it is not. That will only bring us more heartache. “Face the Truth!”

In conclusion, let’s embrace the truth even when it hurts our hearts. In the end, we will be better off. As I always say, consult God in all matters; when we do that, the truth will come quickly. Remember, God is a God of truth and righteousness, and His truth will always prevail. Accordingly, situations, relationships, and people may not always be honest. However, if we seek the wisdom of God, correct answers will come. When God reveals His truth, accept it and learn from it. “Face the Truth!” If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 1 John 1:6. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Difficult People!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!
