We will officially celebrate Thanksgiving Day in two days, although we must express gratitude to our Savior daily. So many things, big or small, require our thanks. If the people of the United States showed more gratitude daily, we would be a better nation. Think about your inner circle of family and friends. Are your relationships full of gratitude toward each other? “Everything Thanks!”
In a country where many things are heading in the wrong direction, we must not only pray and petition God but also give thanks. As I think about my Pastor, he consistently tells us to give God praise. Is that necessary? You better believe it is. As we offer praise and thanks to God, something happens. The blessings flow down. You may feel dismay from the results of the presidential election, but move forward. “Everything Thanks!”
Nevertheless, above all that man can do, I trust God with my life and all that concerns and is in connection with me. Without a doubt, you can trust Him too. In all things, give “Everything Thanks!” As I prepare to close this post, I give thanks for everything good that happens to me because I know God did it. Some things don’t look or feel good, but I know they work for my good. Blessings, everyone, and continue to be grateful for the mercies of God. We are going to need His mercy more than ever before. Do you agree? If you do, as you read this post, say Amen! I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers. Philemon 1:4. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Twelve Days of Christmas!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
