“Ending or Beginning?”

I will open this post with a quote by Fred Rogers. “Often, when you think you’re at the end of something, you’re at the beginning of something else.” How many of you feel that way? Depending on the situation, when something ends, we often experience heartache, pain, confusion, and rejection, to name a few. However, endings can sometimes be the best thing for us and give way to new horizons. Trying to hold on to what we deem necessary may be our worst scenario. Letting go may not be easy, but it can be the best remedy for our well-being. “Ending or Beginning?”

Additionally, more often than not, we know when a situation, relationship, friendship, partnership, etc., is drawing to an end for whatever reason. Unfortunately, even good things eventually end, which can lead to an unexpected and newer beginning. Taking a risk to step forward while leaving something behind can yield a fantastic result and newness. Hence, we must not fear endings and trust God for new beginnings when needed. When a plant dies, and we take time to remove dead leaves, sometimes new growth can occur. And as a result, the new plant grows bigger and better. “Ending or Beginning!”

In conclusion, don’t be afraid of changes or allowing something to end that may not benefit your growth. Despite the pain, letting go of a situation or people in our life that cause more anxiety than goodness can be good. Never settle for less than what you deserve! As always, if you pray, God will send the appropriate answer. It may not be what you want to hear, but it will be the best result for your life. “Ending or Beginning?” I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Loosen Your Grip!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!
