Life is good! Do you agree? I am sure you can think of many things that prove to you the goodness of God. But, sometimes, we allow fear to creep into our life. Despite our knowing what the Bible says about fear, we still do. Thinking about your past or present fears, have you ever had relationship fears? Please take a moment to consider any anxiety you may have encountered in a relationship. How did you handle your emotions, or did they control you? Whenever life scares us, it may be hard to tell ourselves, “Don’t Fear!”
Nevertheless, facing it head-on is the only way to overcome our fear. Otherwise, fear can become a heartache in our life. There is enough trouble in this world to which we don’t need to add our worries. Additionally, did you know that fear can cheat you out of many opportunities in life? For example, a great opportunity may come your way, but you may not be receptive if you allow fear to enter your thoughts. “Don’t Fear!”
Lastly, dear readers, one of our greatest fears is the fear of what someone else thinks of us or our choices in life. I have been there, and I am sure each of you reading this post has also. But I learned a long time ago that people may judge you, but they do what they want to do. And that is the whole truth! As I conclude, I ask you, dear readers, what relationship fears do you have or had in the past? Someone will be encouraged if you are willing to share how you overcame fear. Easier said than done, but “Don’t Fear!” trust God. The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. Proverbs 29:25. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Main Course!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
