“Don’t Be Scared!”

Many things scare us in life, but relationships shouldn’t be one of those things that scare us. For some people, relationships are a treat, while others are definitely a trick, but “Don’t Be Scared!” We all know someone who is afraid to trust their heart to someone because of past experiences. Life happens and brings us heartache in place of joy sometimes. Nevertheless, remember the sun eventually comes forth after the cloudy skies.

More importantly, God is love, and He created us with an innate desire to love and receive love from others. Indeed, some relationships yield more pain than joy, but they are not to be the norm. Unfortunately, some individuals move toward the same circle of those who render more pain than joy. In that case, break the cycle. My dear sisters, you are royalty, a child of the King! You deserve love with care and thoughtfulness. “Don’t Be Scared!” to love again and enjoy with someone by your side. Naturally, some individuals choose to take their life’s journey alone, but don’t let it be so because you won’t open your heart.

As I end this post, I pray for your joy and peace, my sisters and brothers. Life is fleeting as we move from day to day. Can you believe this year is ending soon and another one will begin? Wow! Try to make the best of each day. Stand on the promises of God, and lay your heart’s desires at His feet. He is a loving and merciful God who knows us all by name. “Don’t Be Scared!” In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. Psalm 56:4. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “A Beautiful Time!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

“In God I will praise His word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.”
This is one of my favorite scriptures that comes to me when I think about that someone may hurt me or has hurt me, because sometimes we are harmed in the process and are wounded from it. I am reminded that God does not want us to live in a bubble in fear of those that may harm us. We all have to trust others at some time in our lives. As you have so very well stated, I too truly believe that our God simply wants us to trust Him in all situations and He will give us discerning wisdom, not only concerning people but concerning all situations in showing us how to move in them. I think our one of our biggest challenges is not that we don’t hear or listen, but that we are hesitant to “act” on it.
Thank you as always for sharing such wonderful words of wisdom and may God continue to lead and guide you in all of your endeavors in your favor.

Thank you so much for your timely words of wisdom. And yes, I believe if we hear and listen closely to God’s voice and then act upon His direction, we won’t be consumed with fear in any situation in life. God bless you, Sis. Audrey, and may the grace of our all-knowing God be upon you always.
