“Commitment!”

Well, we are at “Commitment!” the last “C” in relationships. In my opinion, commitment is the tie that holds the other two C’s in place. What do I mean? Communication is essential, as spoken of in a previous post. Additionally, all relationships, from time to time, need compromises. Nevertheless, if one or neither individual in a relationship holds any commitment, everything is bound to fall apart.

I recently saw a short video on the internet, which I will quickly summarize and add to it. Accordingly, no one could be responsible for breaking up someone else’s relationship. Whether between two single persons in a relationship or marriage, no one should carry the label of a relationship breaker or a home wrecker. You might be thinking otherwise due to experiencing a broken relationship after a third person became a part of it. The first thing most of us tend to do is blame someone else for our calamities and misfortune in a relationship. However, we must evaluate the “Commitment!’ in the relationship.

For example, a man may see or know a woman who is pretty, exciting, desirable; you name it. But, if a man commits to his significant other or spouse, nothing, hear me well, will make that individual lose his integrity and become a cheater. Whether we want to believe it, if he does cheat, it is because he lacks commitment to his relationship. “Commitment!” is critical in a relationship.

As I close, women must stop putting all the blame on themselves if their relationship becomes a threesome. Do we all have some faults? Definitely, yes. Nonetheless, only an individual who lacks commitment to a relationship will allow others to interfere. Spiritually looking at our commitment to our faith and salvation, the devil can’t get a hold of our life if we demonstrate dedication and commitment to holy living. “Commitment!” where do you stand overall and with all? Let your heart therefore be perfect with the Lord our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day. 1 King 8:61. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “I Don’t Like Messy!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

PREACH!!!…Since the beginning in the garden of Eden…the blame of another’s “choice” is yet a thing…
So glad that God is not like mankind! Love it that you said it plainly without prejudice!
