Someone once said, “If it comes down to me and someone else, choose them because it shouldn’t be this hard to choose me.” Wow! this is a powerful statement and a true one. How often do we want something or someone, but their attention is divided between us and someone else? Is the person worth fighting for, or should we move our attention elsewhere? That is my question to you, dear readers. As you hear me say from time to time, many of our dear sisters are trying to wait until God sends them the right person, but waiting can be challenging. Especially when it seems everyone else is receiving their blessing. “Choose Them!” Is that the direction to go?
Accordingly, I have heard of situations in which someone appeared to be more interested in someone else, but the other person did not give up their feelings for the person. Instead, a petition went before God on the matter. Ultimately, the person made an about-face and chose the one who desired to be selected. So much to consider. Who wants to be a second choice? But there are instances where being second turned into first place. Hence it can be the right decision to say, “Choose Them!” On the other hand, maybe not.
Most importantly, always speak to God concerning our uncertainties in life. After talking to Him, listen for the answer. If He says wait, then wait. If He says keep going, then keep it moving. Understandably, no one wants to be a second thought or choice. Accordingly, it does not feel good to be the recipient of indecision, especially in matters of the heart. My thinking is “Choose Them!” or me. A wavering mind leads to instability in our thoughts and actions. What are your thoughts on this matter? For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Give Me Strength, Lord!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
