“Channel Your Thoughts!” You may be wondering what thoughts you may have that need channeling. Did you ever think about the fact that many of our thoughts contribute to the ruination of our relationships? I believe they do. Without a doubt, negative thoughts, more often than not, lead to negative actions. Hence, the Bible is correct. We must think about true, noble, honest, pure, lovely things (Philippians 4:8). Therefore, we must take some ownership of what enters our minds.
Something I am trying to do in my life is to be more intentional about my thoughts and actions. In a recent conversation with someone, I expressed how we can choose to be happy, joyful, or discontent with our lives. The devil is a deceiver and wants us to lead miserable lives; if we are not careful, it may cause us to sin. Life is too short to be unhappy, sad, and discontent, to name a few. Therefore, when situations, our environment, or people cause our thoughts to turn bitter, make lemonade and eliminate the bitterness. “Channel Your Thoughts!”
In conclusion, choose goodness, kindness, loving thoughts, and joy over negativity. Communication is vital in any relationship; we must also “speak” over our lives. I can’t stress enough the positivity that will come when you “Channel Your Thoughts!” away from those things that yield anything that takes your smile away. Be intentional; love life because it is only here briefly. The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord: but the words of the pure are pleasant words. Proverbs 15:26. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Thank You!”
Be encouraged, and God bless!
