“Change My Focus!”

This post is going to be short and to the point! Have you ever thought that sometimes our focus can be misguided? Often, women primarily focus on things that include having a companion. Some feel they are incomplete if a man is not in their life. Additionally, they need help to fathom going anywhere alone where other women will have a date or husband by their side. This obsession will sometimes cause jealousy, possibly hatred, to penetrate their hearts because of what they feel they deserve. All their friends appear happy, and they are not single. Well, let me tell you something. My sisters, these women must petition God and ask Him to please “Change My Focus!”

Furthermore, God knows what we need and when we need something or someone. If you have never heard this before, let me tell you that God’s timing doesn’t revolve around our wants. Another secret you may not know is that everyone in a relationship, whether dating or married, is not as happy as you think. On the contrary, every smiling face does not indicate a joyful and merry heart. Sometimes just a required mask to keep others out of their business. Or, more importantly, the person is displaying the joy of the Lord regardless of what is happening in their life. While they utter to God, “Change My Focus!” so I can go through my trials.

As I conclude before this post gets any longer, in 2023, when we focus more on what we lack instead of what we have, we all must say, “Change My Focus!” Whether lonely, heartbroken, or disappointed, God is yet GOOD and will never forsake or harm us. His love is everlasting and goes beyond what we can see. Lord, “Change My Focus!” when it is not in your will, or it’s more about me and not You! This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. Matthew 15: 8. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Push!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!

Great and on time post! I’m going through some situations right now that have my mind completely focused on them and not on God. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that God is GOOD and that all things work together when we aren’t looking at Him. This is a reminder for me to CHANGE MY FOCUS! Thank you for the reminder, sweet mother!

You’re welcome, baby girl! Just keep your focus on the goodness of God, and everything else will fall right into place. And remember, trials, storms, and other things come to take our eyes off of God, but they are only distractions because greater is on the way! Be encouraged, and thank you for your wonderful comments. Blessings and favor are yours!
