“Baby, Oh Baby!”

I am finally writing this post, which is a special one for me. This post will express the sentiment of my joyful heart. Some of you readers already know, the journey to motherhood for my baby girl was a long one. As a matter of fact, for twelve years. Many things about the number twelve (woman with the issue of blood, twelve disciples, tribes of Israel, to name a few) are notable.

For my daughter, the number twelve tells a story of her IVF journey to have a baby. On the natural side, IVF stands for in vitro fertilization, but I call it “Intervention via Faith”. God truly intervened and heard the prayers of not only my daughter, but also so many prayer warriors around the country. I am full of joy to say Baby Judah arrived safely and healthy! “Baby, Oh Baby!”

So, I dedicate this post to my sweet Baby Judah, celebrating his divinely orchestrated birth as a gift from our awesome God. He is my sweet grandson in the midst of three sweet granddaughters. My joy and gratitude to God are more than I can express verbally. Oh, how I recognize and appreciate the goodness of God. “Baby, Oh, Baby!” My God, my God, how we so appreciate you for our new bundle of joy.

Additionally, for those who may not know, Judah means praise. We not only praise God for him, but his mother and grandma also give him back to God, just as Hannah did with Samuel. My joy, my praise is overflowing. When he entered this world (I was in the room to witness his birth), I had to hold back tears of joy because my heart was and is still full of joy and gratitude.

As I end this dedicatory post, I say to baby Judah, Grandma loves you soooo much and is praying that God’s anointing will overshadow everything else in your life. God bless you, my sweet baby boy. Always allow God to lead you in all that you do. Always be good to your mama because she prayed for you for twelve years and loves you very much. “Baby, Oh Baby!” My sweet baby Judah! To thee, oh Lord, we give you praise! Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise….. Genesis 49:9. I’ll return next week with a new post, “The God Who Sees Me!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!
